The Open University will launch its 2010 MBA programme with nationwide open workshops from January 26-28.

The Open University will launch its 2010 MBA programme with nationwide open workshops from January 26-28.

The workshops are open to anyone interested in studying for an MBA. They will be attended by current MBA candidates and graduates along with staff from the Open University Business School.

The OU MBA degree is an internationally accredited two-year management qualification.

The programme is delivered using online technologies and coursework blended with residential seminars. The MBA is being administered by the Open University’s offices in Dublin and enrolment is open until March 17.

“The MBA programme is open to experienced managers regardless of their background, industry or sector," said Dr. Nick Watson, Global MBA Co-director of the Open University Business School.

"Participants can combine their full time employment and personal commitments with the coursework which uses a blend of flexible online tutorials with books, internet discussion groups, audio-visual resources and residential seminars."
