Games Workshop profits ahead of forecasts

Model and war game retailer Games Workshop said cost control and better profit margins would see pre-tax profits for the year to May 30 come in some £5m (€5.56m) ahead of market forecasts.

While sales in the half-year to November 29 declined slightly, trading in December was satisfactory, added the Nottingham group.
