London tube workers accept pay deal

The threat of industrial action by London Underground workers ended today when the biggest Tube union accepted a pay deal.

LU welcomed the decision by the Rail Maritime and Transport union to accept a two-year above-inflation offer of a 1.5% pay increase this year and RPI inflation plus 0.5% next year.
