Central Bank governor faces Oireachtas questioning

The Governor of the Central Bank is to face questioning about the Irish financial sector today.

Patrick Honohan will appear before the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Economic Regulatory Affairs.

Members of the all-party group will be examining what changes have been made to the regulation and supervision of the banking system, and what kind of regulation arrangements we can see in the future.
