Carphone Warehouse raises forecast for year

TalkTalk firm Carphone Warehouse today flagged up improved prospects for the financial year after better than expected customer growth in the first half.

Excluding its Tiscali acquisition – which takes the firm’s overall broadband base to 4.1 million – the company added a net 124,000 new customers in the six months to September 30.
