Derry firm announces 150 new jobs

Business process outsourcing company, Firstsource has announced 150 new jobs in Derry city for a contract with a new telecommunications client.

Sean Canning, UK Operations Director for Firstsource, said: "This work is a great development for Firstsource as we will be working for a new client and moving into a new area in Derry.

"We are still recruiting for our Northland Road site and this new facility will be a major expansion for Firstsource."

Invest Northern Ireland’s Chief Executive Alastair Hamilton, said: “Invest NI has worked closely with Firstsource since its original investment in 2006 and the company’s rapid growth since then demonstrates that Northern Ireland was the perfect location from which to develop business in the EMEA market."

Firstsource recently won the UK's Best Telecommunications Outsourcing Project from the National Outsourcing Association and was named as UK Investor of the Year in the recent UK Trade & Industry Awards.
