About 300 jobs are set to be axed at two Fox’s Biscuits factories in northern England, it was announced today.

Fox’s owner Northern Foods is spending £26.5m (€29.5m) on introducing robot technology at plants in Batley in West Yorkshire, Kirkham in Lancashire and Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
