Tytex redundancy talks being held today

Talks will begin today between unions and management at the last manufacturing company in Youghal, Co Cork.

Last week it was announced that Tytex manufacturing would close with the loss of up to 80 jobs.

Redundancy terms will be on today's agenda.

Youghal has lost around 2,500 manufacturing jobs in the last eight years.
