Two US companies are set to announce more than 90 new jobs for Galway today.

Computer manufacturer Hewlett Packard plans to create 51 new R&D positions at its existing operation in Ballybrit.

Meanwhile, the online trading firm Buy.com will also be creating 40 jobs at a new facility in the city.

Tánaiste and Enterprise Minister Mary Coughlan is due to officially announce the two investments later this morning.
