Engineers' body announces joint training venture with CIMA

Engineers Ireland today announced a joint venture with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) that will offer 24,000 members of Engineers Ireland a thorough grounding in business and finance through the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting.

The certificate, a recognised qualification, will provide Engineers Ireland members with a range of financial skills in areas of key importance to the engineering and construction sector including accounting for property, plant and equipment, start-up costs, borrowing costs and joint ventures.

Engineers Ireland is the professional members' body for all qualified engineers in Ireland, while CIMA is the world’s leading and largest professional body of management accountants.
