The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed down 35.38 points to 3,058.56 this evening, a drop of 1.14%.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed down 35.38 points to 3,058.56 this evening, a drop of 1.14%.

Financial stocks were among the fallers, with AIB down 28c to €2.10, Bank of Ireland falling 25c to €2.25 and Irish Life & Permanent 32c off at €5.37.
