Meeting to discuss return of striking port workers
A meeting to negotiate the return to work of MTL employees at Dublin Port is due to take place today.
Around 30 employees of Marine Terminals Ltd have been on strike for 15 weeks as part of a dispute over lay-offs and changes to working conditions.
The dispute ended earlier this week after MTL's parent company, Peel Holdings, accepted Labour Court recommendations on job retention and redundancies.
Issues surrounding the terms and conditions of those who remain with the company have still to be determined.
