The value of Irish shares jumped almost 1.5% today, as the ISEQ index rose 48.21 points to 3,322.47.

The value of Irish shares jumped almost 1.5% today, as the ISEQ index rose 48.21 points to 3,322.47.

The financials all lost ground. Irish Life and Permanent continued its recent downward trend, losing 16c to €5.40. Allied Irish Banks slipped 2c to €2.84, with Bank of Ireland inching down 1c to €2.86.
