The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise Mary Coughlan has announced an investment of almost €5m in a new Science Foundation Ireland research project.
The research into financial mathematics aims to develop and create jobs in Ireland's international financial services industry.
Around 25,000 people are currently employed at the International Financial Services Centre in Dublin.
