Kilkenny People printing staff to strike on Friday

Printing staff at the Kilkenny People have announced plans to mount strike action on Friday over the company's decision to close its printing facility with the loss of 46 jobs.

The Unite trade union says management at the firm is trying to impose redundancy terms inferior to those applied to staff who were let go in 2007.
