Tullamore concrete firm to lay off 30 workers

A Co Offaly concrete company has announced plans to lay off half of its workforce before the end of this year.

Condron Concrete says it will be shedding 30 jobs at its Tullamore operation.

The lay-offs will leave just 29 staff members at the company, which produces concrete pipes and tiles.
