Madoff family 'used business like piggy bank'

Fraudster Bernard Madoff’s brother, sons and a niece used the family finance business like a “piggy bank”, a court-appointed trustee said.

Irving Picard’s comments came as he demanded in a lawsuit that they return almost $200m (€1.4m) that fuelled their lavish lifestyle at the expense of investors.
