C&C Group takeover of Anheuser-Busch operations completed

Drinks company C&C Group has today announced that its takeover of Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Irish, Scottish and Northern Irish businesses has been completed.

The approval from the Irish Competition Authority was granted September 17, with shareholder approval following eight days later.

Following the completion of the employee consultation process, all conditions precedent to the acquisition of have now been satisfied.

The acquisition was officially completed yesterday.
