Dublin to host Global Irish Economic Summit
Details have been announced of the first ever Global Irish Economic Forum, which will be modelled on the World Economic Forum at Davos in Switzerland.
Almost 200 of the world's top CEOs with Irish roots will gather at Farmleigh in Dublin on the weekend of September 18.
They will include Alan Joyce from Dublin, who is the Chief Executive of Qantas Airlines in Australia, former chairman of Intel Craig Barrett and campaigner Bob Geldof.
The objective of the forum is to explore how prominent people with Irish roots can help rebuild the economy.
