The ISEQ index shared in the postive sentiment of other world markets this morning, rising 40.68 points to 2,932.88 by 11.45am.

Notable among the risers were Paddy Power, adding 35c to €17.85; CRH, up 23c to €17.98; Smurfit Kappa, adding 17c to €4.77; Kingspan, lifting 16c to €5.41; Elan Corp, cheering 13c to €5.33; Grafton Group, up 9c to €3.29, and Glanbia, 5c up to €2.50.
