Final day of talks to save Element Six
Senior executives from Element Six in Co. Clare will continue talks in London today on a possible rescue plan for the company.
The industrial diamond manufacturer is to cease manufacturing and distribution at its Shannon facility with the loss of 370 jobs.
It is hoped management can come up with a plan to develop a sustainable operation at Shannon and save a substantial number of the positions.
The talks will conclude today and workers are likely to be informed of the outcome tomorrow.
