BA deadlocked with union over cost-cutting plans

The union representing British Airways cabin crew registered a “failure to agree” after lengthy talks failed to break a deadlocked row over cost cutting plans.

BA wants to cut thousands of jobs and freeze pay for two years and has been unsuccessfully trying to reach a deal with unions.
