Future of Cork Docklands project 'uncertain'
The future of the Cork Docklands Project remains uncertain according to the Cork Chamber of Commerce.
It follows comments from the Environment Minister John Gormley that funding decisions in relation to some projects have been deferred due to "budgetary constraints".
The massive regeneration programme, which will cost up to €10bn, will take about 15 years to complete.
It will be the biggest single development in the city's history and includes the construction of the new Eastern Gateway Bridge.
