Smurfit credit amendments approved

Smurfit Kappa announced today that its efforts to amend the terms of its credit had received the support of enough lenders to proceed.

In a statement, the company said that Deutsche Bank, as agent for the lenders, had received "consents to the proposed amendments to SKG’s Senior Credit Facility in excess of the required acceptance level".
