The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up 35.98 points to 2,713.94 today.
The financials all did well. Both Allied Irish Banks and Irish Life and Permanent gained 17c to rise to €1.82 and €3.07 respectively. Bank of Ireland improved 10c to €1.83.
