Sports broadcaster Setanta began taking subscriptions from new customers again today as rescue hopes grew for the struggling business.

The Irish firm is attempting to stave off administration by raising funds to help pay TV rights bills including the Barclays Premier League, FA Cup, and Scottish Premier League.
