Fresh fears raised for Lufthansa Technik jobs

Unions and management at the Lufthansa Technik plant in Co Dublin are due to meet this morning amid fresh fears for the future of 465 jobs.

In April, workers at the aircraft maintenance firm agreed to accept proposals on new work practices and overtime arrangements that were brokered by the National Implementation Body.

However, a small number of staff members are refusing to comply with the changes and the company is now threatening to place the entire workforce on protective notice from Monday.
