Group to examine blockages in flow of credit

The Ministers for Enterprise and Finance have agreed the terms of reference of a new group to examine blockages in the flow of credit.

The Credit Supply Clearing Group will investigate specific cases where loans were not provided for viable projects.

It will also track the patterns of lending in the country's banks and identify solutions to free up credit to small and medium companies.

The group will include members of the banking and business sectors.
