Aer Lingus shares slump on ISEQ

A downcast trading update resulted in a slide for Aer Lingus shares on the ISEQ today, with the index as a whole dropping 30.70 cents to 2,398.33 by market close.

Shares in the former Irish flag-carrier fell 13c or 19.08% to 0.56 after the company revealed that its revenue had fallen by 16% in the first quarter of 2009 compared with a year earlier.
