Lufthansa Technik workers accept new proposals
Workers at Lufthansa Technik in Dublin have voted in favour of new proposals that could save 465 jobs at the plant.
The entire workforce at the Rathcoole facility was put on protective notice last week after rejecting Labour Court recommendations about the introduction of new work practices.
The German firm said a new investment that would guarantee the future viability of the plant was dependent on the changes being introduced.
The workers have now voted to accept new proposals negotiated during talks between unions and management over the weekend.
