Dell workers meeting to decide redundancy offer

Workers at Dell in Limerick will meet later to decide on their response to the company's redundancy offer.

Around 2,000 workers at the plant are about to lose their job.

Talks between management and unions over redundancy packages broke down last week - unions say the offer simply isn't enough.

According to Denis Ryan of the Dell Employees Representative Committee, they will consider going to the Labour Relations Commission to get a better deal.
