IDA examining four offers for SR Technics
SIPTU says it has held a constructive meeting with IDA officials aimed at saving jobs at SR Technics.
The state development authority has told the union that there have been three serious expressions of interest in the firm and officials are meeting a fourth interested party today.
The first 600 redundancies at the aircraft manufacturing firm are taking effect today, with more than 500 more workers set to lose their jobs when the Dublin Airport facility closes later this year.
SIPTU is calling for the Government and the company to provide a window of opportunity to allow discussions with potential buyers to continue.
