Hauliers lobby against increase in diesel duties

The Irish Road Haulage Association is urging the Government not to increase the duty on diesel in Tuesday's emergency Budget.

The association says an increase would be a disaster for the already struggling industry and would pose a further threat to jobs which are already at risk because of the downturn.
