Beamish & Crawford closure delayed until May
The closure of Beamish & Crawford in Cork has been delayed for operational reasons.
The stout brewery was to have closed today, but will not fully shut down until the end of May.
Owners Heineken say the delay is down to logistical reasons.
Heritage campaigners are calling on the company to use the site to develop a tourist attraction, similar to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin.
