Bausch and Lomb expected to cut Waterford jobs
There are fears that Waterford may be hit with another major jobs blow.
Speculation is rife that Bausch and Lomb is set to announce more than 100 lay-offs.
The eye-care firm, which employs 1,400 people, put workers on short-time working hours last month.
Management at the company is due to update employees tomorrow on developments in the business.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear whether any jobs will be saved at Waterford Crystal following its purchase by the US private equity firm KPS Capital.
