Trading tentative on FTSE
The FTSE 100 Index remained broadly flat today as the Bank of England indicated further “unconventional” measures would be needed to combat the UK recession.
In tentative trading, the London market was 1.8 points down to 4211.3 by mid-morning after an indication that inflation would fall far below the 2% target.
