Zurich Life has reported a 34% increase in market share for 2008.
The insurance and investments company formerly known has Eagle Star Life recorded a 1% rise in new business for the year to €218.5m.
The company's pensions annual premium new business rose by 20%, single premium new business was up by 11% while PRSA business grew by 2% over the year.
