Full examiner appointed to Chartbusters
A full examiner has been appointed by the High Court to Chartbusters, which has debts in the region of €20m.
The entertainment chain has 37 stores around the country and employs in the region of 252 people.
The High Court has already heard that €12m of the debts are owed to ACC, Bank of Scotland (Ireland) and KBC.
This appointment of examiner Neil Hughes means that the company is now protected by the High Court while Mr Hughes and the directors consider a successful way forward.
