Music retailer Zavvi to close more outlets in NI

The British music retailer Zavvi has announced plans to close a further 18 outlets, including several located in the North.

The company's British and Irish operations were put into administration last month and 22 UK outlets were shut down shortly after Christmas.

This morning, the administrators announced that a further 18 stores would be closed, including shops in Belfast, Derry, Newry and Newtonabbey.

The future of the firm's outlets in the Republic of Ireland remains unclear.
