Exporters feel the pinch as Euro strengthens
The Irish Exporters' Association says many of its companies are now trading at a loss due to the Euro's record high against sterling.
The Euro rose to 92.5p today, amid fears for the health of the British economy.
The rise is good news for shoppers heading over the border, but makes Irish products more expensive for companies trading with UK businesses.
John Whelan of the Exporters' Association said he fears the situation could quickly lead to job losses.
