FTSE treads water as investors take stock
London’s blue chip share index struggled to make headway today as investors took stock after the expected 1% cut in UK interest rates.
The FTSE 100 Index closed down 6.4 points at 4163.6, flitting in and out of negative territory as the Bank of England delivered the full point cut.
