Japan offers cash to tackle crisis

Japan’s finance minister says the government is ready to offer money to any needed effort to inject capital into crumbling financial institutions around the world.

Finance minister Shoichi Nakagawa did not give details today on how Japanese money may be used to salvage other nations’ financials.
