Rescue attempt continues at Futura Gael

Efforts are underway to save the charter airline Futura Gael.

The airline was grounded on September 8, after suffering huge losses.

Seventy employees were laid off and hundreds of passengers were stranded when Futura Gael collapsed.

The High Court appointed an examiner to the company last week.

Management are working with the examiner to find secure new investment and restructure the airline in an effort to resume its operations.
