CIF calls on Government to deliver NDP

The Construction Industry Federation has called on the Government to deliver on the National Development Plan.

The call came in the wake of figures from the CSO today, which show that the number of new homes being built in Ireland has dropped by nearly a fifth.

The Federation said maintaining planned investments is the only way to cushion the struggling industry against further setbacks if the economy continues to decline.
