Total Produce announces 13% rise in pre-tax profits
Fruit distributor Total Produce has reported a 13% rise in pre-tax profits to €22m for the first half of this year as compared to the same period last year.
Revenue went up 6% to just below €1.3bn.
Chairman Carl McCann said the rise in profits was due to acquisitions and tight control over costs.
The company said the boost from acquisitions was partly offset by the euro's strength against sterling.
