Australian investment firm Babcock & Brown, who own eircom through a subsidiary company, had their shares suspended yesterday amid concerns about its financial health.
Shares in the company plummeted 23.5% yesterday amid speculation that chief executive Phil Green was about to quit.
The firm said that directors would meet tomorrow to consider changes to its board.
