Iceland boss launches Woolworths bid: Report
The founder of the Iceland frozen food chain has launched a surprise bid for Woolworths retail arm, a report said today.
Malcolm Walker is heading a consortium that has made a formal approach to Woolworths chairman Richard North about acquiring the chain’s 815 stores, the Sunday Telegraph said.
