ISEQ moves into positive territory

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up this morning, climbing 56.03 points to 4,457.04.

Greencore and Iona were among the chief movers during the morning, increasing their share prices by 7.19% and 10.42% respectively.

At the other end of the scale Smurfit Kappa took a major hit, seeing its share price drop €0.34 to €4.21.

The financial institutions were all moving in a positive direction.

AIB were up €0.09 to €8.62 while Anglo jumped €0.15 to €6.00.

IL&P moved up €0.14 to €5.80 and BoI moved up €0.18 to €5.90.
