Coughlan vows to save businesses €20m on red tape
The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise has promised to save Irish businesses €20m this year by cutting red tape.
Mary Coughlan made the comments this morning following the release of the first report from the Government's High Level Group on Business Regulation.
The report highlights areas where legislation can be changed to reduce the regulatory burden on businesses in areas such as taxation, health and safety law and employment law.
Ms Coughlan says the Government is committed to reducing the cost of regulation for businesses by around 25%.
