Ryanair wins case against Italian authorities
Ryanair says it has won a legal case against Italy's aviation authority, ENAC.
The Irish airline is welcoming the decision of an Italian court to overturn ENAC's decision to divert late-night Ryanair flights bound for Rome's Ciampino Airport.
The airline says that, since January, 18 of its late-night flights have been diverted to Fiumicino Airport, disrupting more than 2,700 passengers.
It claimed ENAC was diverting the flights as part of "state subsistence" being provided to the Italian flag-carrier Alitalia.
